July Sketchbook

I got a set of Sennelier oil pastels while I was in Paris this spring, and I’ve been wanting to play with them more. So I decided to work exclusively in oil pastels in my sketchbook for the month of July!

I did a lot of hydrangea studies. I love the shapes that the leaves create. You can expect a small collection of hydrangea paintings on paper soon!
