Join me for an evening painting among friends in my little backyard garden!
In this workshop, we’ll focus on the joy of painting directly from life. You’ll choose a scene that speaks to you from one of the still lifes setup around the garden; and I’ll demonstrate how to go from sketching your vision, to painting it!
We’ll be working in acrylic on 11×14 canvases. Tables will be arranged in the grass and under the covered porch for you to paint en plein air.
You don’t need any prior experience, I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way, and you can ask as many questions as you’d like!
Painting supplies, snacks and refreshments are provided — so you don’t have to bring a thing, except yourself!
Please note that in the event of rain, we’ll move indoors.
