Coming Soon: Spring Marshes
Spring marshes are in the works, and I’m loving revisiting this series for 2024!
If you’ve been following my work for a while, you’ll know that I’ve been painting marshes since 2019, with my first marsh collection releasing in the spring of 2020. It’s a subject I fell in love with after creating the first marsh painting as a gift for my mother-in-law . As you can tell, I fell hard and I haven’t looked back!
For the latest iteration, I’m bringing in vibrant colors, exploring new marsh views and following my curiosities wherever they lead!
I have a stack of photos that I’ve taken over the last six months for inspiration, and I’ve found that keeping my references analog has been really refreshing. I’ll shuffle through the stack, looking at colors and compositions. Then I’ll do a bit of sketching before bringing my ideas to the easel!
