My Favorite Framing Tip

Find a frame that is big enough for your print, and have your local framer or art supply store cut you a custom mat to fit it. They can put it together and add any hanging hardware for you, too!

For instance, you could get this 20x20 in. frame for Marsh Swim (18x18 in.) and have a 20x20 in. mat cut with an 18x18 in. opening! So you get a nice 1 in. border, and you aren’t having to spend a lot on a custom frame.

There are a variety of fine art prints currently available in The Print Shop, ranging from 4x6 in. to 24x30 in. Pick your favorite or mix and match to create a gallery wall!

My other go-to places for frames (especially if you prefer shopping in-person) are Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, Pottery Barn, World Market, Anthropologie and West Elm. And if you’re able, I always recommend supporting your local framer!
