2023 Year-in-Review

Art is often seen as an isolating career, but I disagree. As I look back on 2023, what strikes me most is the relationships that I’ve formed and how they’ve blossomed throughout the year. From collectors to fellow small-business owners, I’m so thankful to have such kind and inspiring people in my life!

  • In 2023, I had the pleasure of creating nine custom paintings for seven incredible commission clients. This is always so fun because we get to plan the artwork specifically for your space!

  • I worked with eight North Carolina small businesses (from my local framer to retailers); as well as three fine art galleries; and three organizations for art shows.

  • I had countless studio visits and local pickups. It is so sweet to chat with you in my studio and see your reactions to the artwork in-person.

  • I met so many kind people at Magnolia’s Spring at the Silos, and I love that many of you have stayed in-touch (including some roadtrip studio visits)!

  • I was constantly chatting with my dear, creative friends. It feels like I have coworkers, and I love it!

  • And I’m so very grateful for everyone who purchased artwork! Your support is what allows me to keep creating in this capacity, so thank you!
