A Dramatic Diptych

This summer, I had the pleasure of working with one of my favorite interior designers, Kris Riley of Summer Home Designs, and her lovely client Suzanne O'Bryant. They needed a dramatic creekscape to fill a long wall in Suzanne’s living area to brighten up the space. We decided a 36x48 in. diptych was just the ticket!

Q: Why did you decide to commission a painting?

A: I had a large wall that I was having a hard time filling and I was looking for a specific color palette to brighten up my space.

Q: What was your favorite part of the commission process?

A: The reveal!

Q: Do you have any advice for someone considering booking a commission?

A: There simply is no substitute for being able to specify the size, design and colors of art if you have a specific space you are trying to adorn.
